Just got back from the Buckeye Express Diner. A fantastic place for a burger and fries! One of my favorite local places to go out to eat.

If anyone is traveling through Ohio down Interstate I-71 and passing State Route 97, you need to check this place out. Awesome food in a cool refurbished steam engine, dining car and caboose. Warning: Buckeye Tony the owner has it decked out in Ohio State memorabilia!

Alternator change in the '07 Toyota Tacoma. Anyone ever heard of a square peg in a round hole. Well that is what it felt like pulling, twisting and lining it up just right to slip out topside.

Easier going back in, but the serp. belt caused me the most grief! Took longer to get the belt on and seated than it did to bolt up the alternator.

Not sure, but I'd bet the alternator was the factory original. I could barely spin the pulley on it. She was tight!

Picked up this 07 Tahoe Saturday, Monday did a compression/leak down test and found 90% leak out the intake. Last night I ripped the cylinder head off and found the culprit. Head is off to the machine shop today and with a little luck I’ll be putting it back together this weekend

After a several hour setup I got the custom desktop setup! Only issues were the cpu fan was plugged into the wrong port. Also the ram I got isn’t optimized for amd and had to be set to auto for it to function.

But other than those 2 issues it’s running great so far!

That place looks awesome and the food looks delicous! Shame it's so far away from me. Interestingly enough, there is a Buckeye Tavern not too far from me. I really like it and I've taken my girlfriend there twice and she loves it. Her bougie, 9-year old, hot tea drinking, steak-loving son said they have the best steak ever. He finished the entire thing when we took my dad there for his birthday.

A lot of years of corrosion on there. I still have the original in my 08(knock on wood)

Reminds me that i need to replace the clock spring in my steering wheel. New Part has been sitting on my kitchen table for a bit

I know how you feel. Most things now days are adult proof not child proof.
'99 tracker steering rack last Sunday. Tiny spaces and man size hands excellent combination. Motor mounts as soon as they come in. My youngest daughter just loves that tracker.

like most of us getting the time and the vehicle together is a challenge. '87 Toyota 1 ton horn contact has been here 2 weeks. When I looked at it somebody used washers to space the ring out for the contact to touch again.

I flew my rc plane today for the first time I've only had it for over a year now and decided I should give it a try

it took a few minutes to figure it out but I was able to fly it and I even landed it once lol
I think it's time to finish putting the screws in and I'll probably glue all the snap in parts together

I haven't flown a RC plane in 30 or more years and that was short lived since balsa wood doesn't hold up to flying straight In to the ground that well but this foamie held up great in the 5 or 6 crash landings it took lol before I put it away and decided ok it's worth finishing lol

Weather outside wasn't ideal for tiny truckin', so I worked in the hobby room today. Rearranged my rig storage #2 and added a shelf to better hold and display them. Now each rig has its own perch and is out of my way on and around my bench.

This side of the room is still calling my name. The scale shop is full with the 2 Toyota builds I started last year.

Hiding under the shop and behind the tire stacks is my Marlin, Trailwalker, GSpeed V3 and SCX10.2 rigs.

Well because of the atmospheric river that just went over us the past month or so, my grill had a ton of rust on it so I hit it with my wire wheel on my grinder, then cleaned all the dust off it real good and heat it up and sprayed it down with avocado oil to season it. Now looks almost brand new.

Well over the weekend I was able to take a cmax2 chassis that had the trans and rear axle assembled and turn it into almost a complete running chassis. Just needs esc mounted and a servo horn

I suffered in silence as I took my wife to our pool for sun and yacking with neighbors.
But it was 83 and sunny, my beer was cold.

Went out for a snorkel yesterday. It's Autumn now, so it wont be long until it's too cold.
Saw a Stingray.

I realized I need a bec for 2 trucks, and have to send the transmitter in for a repair. The steering position isn’t very stable even with the receiver being off

Took the rug doctor and hooked up the upholstery attachment to get a smell out of our newly acquired car.

My girlfriend returned from another work trip on Friday. Her 9-year old son and I stopped and got her some welcome home flowers. Saturday, her son went to a neighbor friend's house and spent the day there. My girlfriend was tired and wanted a do nothing day. That is the least I did in a day in a long time. She said I am terrible at doing nothing. I was bored a few times throughout the day!
