Default Rig

I be bringing my TXT, not sure what class you guys will put me in with the other thread discussing classes, so here's my specs:

Crawler - Rail Rig
Chassis - TXT
Axles - Custom Maxx straight axles w/ MIP CVDs & spools
X-case - Mod TXT w/ Revo shafts
Wheel base - 15-1/4"
Center Clearance - 5-1/8"
Track Width - 15-1/4"
Links - TXT / Custom w/ Revo rod ends
Motor - Either Integy 55T lathe or custom 27T in a modified can
Tires - Associated grooved MGT BFT's
Rims - Imex cheap crawlers
Shocks - Stock Maxx
ESC - Novak Super Chicken
Servo - Hitec 645mg Font only
Controller - Traxas Maxx
Pinion/Gear Ratio - (40t spur/9t pinion) x (3.8 GD600) x (6.1 trans) x (2.8 axle) = 289:1

Sold my hardcore crawler, but will be in my dark green 1:1 TJ, since I can't pack the crawler on the hog.

I just drove to Pinnicales to day from Walmut Creek it took 3 hours 20 minutes. I think it is way too far for me again.

Is this still a comp., or will it be a GTG because of the comp on the 1st or 2nd?

It's still a comp. On another note, my nylint won't be competing in the nylint class. Instead it will be competing in the 2.2 class . It should be fun.

Default Still Happening?

I'm holding this event as a priority and still plan to attend, since it works well for me and will be my first comp, however with the comp the week before at Castle Rock, I'm concerned about the turnout that you may have.

I cancelled a Roadster show in Sac that weekend and skipping out on a buddies wedding, just to go crawling.

Could we get another poll of people that still plan to attend?

Thanks

It doesn't matter how many comps we have before or after this, I am still going to Folsom Lake for this comp.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and getting some mug shots for the names.

I am not sure if I will camp or not for the weekend. It really depends on the weather and if anyone else is planning on camping.

I WILL be at the Folsom comp. Yes, with everyone knowing about the Folsom comp way ahead of time, I believe it's poor scheduling to have done the Castle comp the weekend before, but its their thing. If the Castle comp is on a Sunday, I'll probably be there, but no way on a Sat. I already have the Sat. off for the Folsom comp. Long Hair Hippy, and Axeman will be with me, and I know mike and bubbacheechee will be there as well. I believe creampuff was going to try and make it as well. This means 5 or 6 from the Redding area will be there.

Looking forward to meeting you guys as well. It will be interesting to see, in person, the different ideas that people have building rigs. If you plan on making a weekend out of it, I could also try to do the same. It would be nice to get away for a couple days.

I'm in the same boat, too busy to get the parts together. Do you think anyone is gonna care if the body on my clod is a little small. It's off my old Rustler and my new body just came in, and I don't really have the energy to deal with it.
