I was just thinking the same thing! I just bought a bronco body which means I now need to paint it or pay someone to paint it and get it mounted.

I am now going to be out of town next weekend for 3 days which gives me even less time to work on this.

This is just a friendly comp, I say screw it and run what is easy for now. We can get real serious for next year. That's the idea anyway isn't it?

randy, i'm pretty sure you can car camp at beals point. i know you can regular camp. your camping spot would probably be about a 5 minute walk from where we are going to crawl. and it's 20.00 bucks to camp.

I'm not sure if there is motorhome parking near by, I guess snowkd should know. Glad to hear that everyone is still plannning on coming. It should be a good turn out and a lot of fun.

Snowkd just beat me to it.

No secrets here, I got the new NN chassis from thecrawlerstore.com. You simply CANNOT beat the price for everything that is comes with, I don't care what anyone says.

There all friendly comps. I'll definitly have the clod running cause I am tired of my TXT and want to drive something new. I don't plan on being real competitive with the clod since I have NEVER driven one.

I do plan on whopping some *** with my TLT though.

That's funny and I am assuming your kidding.

In case you did not notice, I did drive the **** out of those coarses.

You can make all the excuses you want as to why your rig broke.

I by no means have nearly the ego you have with this whole competing thing. When I say I am going to "whoop some *** with my TLT" that is just trying to razz you guys, because I think it's fun to talk **** before a comp. But you take it too seriously.

Unlike you I don't expect to win every comp. I am actually competing more with myself then with you guys. I know what my rig is capable off and what I can do, but doing all the right things in a comp is a whole nother story.

Your welcome to hitch a ride with me. I don't know it I am camping or going up for the day. I don't see the point in camping if I am the only one doing it.

Like I said, I'll probably be camping, and it sounds like Randy might be also.

Cool, then I will plan on it. You going up Friday night or Saturday morning? I'm not sure what I will do because driving out of the bay area on a Friday night is horrible.

It's a 3 hour drive for me, I think, so either Fri. night or Sat. morning works for me. That might all depend on who rides with me, and when my wife (Trailergirl) will take her claws out of my back.

Sounds good. Did we agree on a camp ground?
