I was up at Chilohowee all day at the quarry / ridge. We really need to just try a comp there once sometime. The road is wide enough that we could line cars up on the side and half the people that comp have 4x4's, so they could park in the pull off. It really is an awsome place to crawl Hundreds of course option. |

Almost got may scaler put together out of scrap parts and a chassis I got for $15. Still need esc / receiver and a body. Anybody know what 1.9 bodies are out there in the 11" wb range? Probably won't have it ready for next weekend though :-( |

| Oh yea I just hope I don't get carried away with mine and miss running 2.2 and 1.9. The kit scx10 is 11.5". I have one here that I haven't used, uncut and unpainted. I also have a well used e-maxx body that's about 11.25" you could use to get you through the day. I could bring either one. |

Sweet! I got so carried away tweaking the 2.2 and 1.9 comp rigs I forgot I need to re-work the front bumper mount on the scaler, guess I have something to do on Thursday ;) Last edited by Lushtrucker; 11-23-2009 at 01:03 AM. |

I also have a spektrum rx too. I'll have both in the tool box just in case. As far as bodies go, if you are gonna run lexan I'd say just go to your lhs and see what they have around your wheelbase, you can always stretch out or shorten the wheel base to match the body. Maxx size bodies should be about right, and of course any of the proline/axial scale bodies should work, a lot of people run the hpi jeep body too. I just checked the weather channel, they are saying 0% chance of rain with a high in the mid 50's. I guess I will cut a set of TSL Swampers down to 2.2, just in case.

This week,it's been cold and a few light showers...... Never fails,it's always slick when y'all come up Joe's on to something..... Harvo's got a point,Mashers do infact work pretty dang good up here when it's wet. Might have to glue my old set back up..... Randy came by the shop today. I don't care where I finish....I gotta keep it on it's wheels now, can't scratch up my new paint job. BIG thanks to Randy, this thing is damn sexy! | ||
