Steve... you going to build courses Friday night or are we building them Saturday morning?

Anything extra I need to bring?

I'll try to build the courses. I have to work Thursday and Friday. Eddie and I will try to get down there before dark on Friday to set everything up.

I know,it's nuts.....it was voluntary though. Trying to do as much as I can to catch us up. If we can get caught up enough,we can start cutting the new wheels.

I have a little different idea for a "bonus gate". I think I may try it on one of the courses tomorrow.

It ain't that bad. It'll definitely keep you on your toes for about 10 feet.

Imagine this....Between gate 4 and 5,2 lines 16" apart. If you touch either line,no bonus. If you can successfully go between gate 4 and 5 without touching a line, you get a 10 point bonus. Normal scoring otherwise still applies within that section.

It adds length and difficulty to that course,IF you decide to try the bonus "section". You'll have to slow down some, times a ticking on the clock though.....

If you choose not to try the bonus section, ignore the lines and go on. No penalties for touching the lines, touching them only stops you from getting any bonus.

I also have another bonus on another course. A good side hill with a little moss to a touch marker. If you can get out there and touch the marker with a tire...10 point bonus.

Oh yeah,one other thing.....

I have a load of firewood in my Dodge and a burn barrel set up. If anyone wants to bring hot dogs or something to cook on the fire,we can start a fire.

Hmmm. That could be a tough one.

We'll see how guys like this style of bonus. If allot of you guys like it,we'll try to use it more often....just an idea I thought we could try.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made it out today. Big thanks to everyone who stepped up and helped with judging.

Even though I just couldn't get in the groove today and didn't drive very well,Eddie and I both had allot of fun today. Little chilly in the morning, but it warmed up a bit and turned out to be a great day.

Congrats to Anthony on winning a set of my 1911 2.2 delrin wheels.

Stacey will be posting the scores up as soon as he gets home.

I could probably go down there right now and walk the courses now that the gate markers are gone.
