| Sealing up a bec?
Cant really find a specific answer to this but castle leaves the ends open and wondering if one could seal the ends up so its water tight without issue? Thanks |

I cut off the shrink wrap and liquid electrical taped the whole thing. Works great!

I put another piece of shrinkwrap over the whole unit. A bit longer than the original. Shrink it, then fill the ends with silicone. If need be, you can cut off the new piece and have an untouched BEC. I do the same thing to winch/light controllers. |

Or take a balloon and cut a hole in the end. slide the BEC through and ziptie the ends shut. Maybe just a dab of shoe goo on the ends to make sure it's sealed up.

I use shrink wrap and zip tie any loose ends packing them with lithium grease. You can also dip the entire thing in Plastidip but you can't resell it later... Here's mine in some thick shrink wrap under my Wraith's hood: My BRXL is already waterproofed and my 7950TH I waterproofed myself as well. |
