since u said you have the 3 escs listed i would use either the max or max pro to keep heat to a min if you are running 3s lipo

He's got a point. The sidewinder will likely get hot/work too hard. The MMP will drive those 2 motors silly without breaking a sweat.

I don't think the sidewinder will be a problem for two 45T's. We have guys in our club running dual 35T's on Mamba Micro Pros on 4s.

If size and weight are not an issue than run the Mamba Max, no sense tiying up a nice controller like the MM Pro on brushed motors. If size ad weight are a concern run the sidewinder and just keep an eye on it.

Yea they are likely running dual ESC's...

I believe the OP wants to run 2 motors from a single ESC.

I would not recommend the sidewinder to run two motors.

i thought he was thinking the samr with the dual esc. i am wanting to run two 45t blitz on one esc. can the mamba max handle that or will i have to use the pro to pull it off since it seems the sidewinder is out

the normal mamba max will handle it just as well as the pro just the pro can handle more than 3s lipo

Not really:
-"T" the red & black off the ESC to each motor
-One motor will be "reversed" wiring so it spins correctly as they need to counter-rotate (if you reverse the wrong one, you can either reverse the ESC, the throttle channel or wiring on both motors)
-Set the ESC to "brushed mode"
-Make sure you calibrate the ESC to the RX

For the first couple of packs, check motor & ESC temps. Warm to the touch is OK, hot is not.

Are you going to do dual ESC's or a dig at some point? It will make you happier with the rig if you do.

Yes you can, while not as good as dual ESC's, it's better than just a single ESC running 2 motors on a MOA.

The ESC output goes to the input on the dig, then you go from each dig output to the motors.
You still need to "reverse" the wiring polarity to the rear motor so it rotates opposite the front motor.

There is absolutely no problem running dual 45t motors on a single sidewinder. Two 30t motors is about as fast as I would recommend.
