| Motor install, connectors or hard wire ?
I'm going to put a Novak Goat 3s in my nightcrawler and Tekin FXR with a 35T in my Honcho. My question is whether to hard wire them or install bullet connectors to the motor ? I know hard wired is the least resistance and no chance of corrosion but with high quality connectors the voltage drop should be almost zero. I like tearing stuff down alot and it's nice to be able to disconnect the motor. Anybody ever have and serious problems using connectors ?

Go with some good plated connectors. I use them and know others that do. Can't go wrong especially when it comes time to tear things apart.

Connectors, makes things a lot easier. I use 4mm bullet connectors (females on the ESC side).

Yep I use 4mm bullets on all my crawler motors. For go fast I solder it direct though, less junk to go wrong. |

Connectors weigh more, add resistance, and become another point of failure. I stick to direct wire.

Direct wire. Easier than connectors and less to fail.
