Perfect thread!
Just getting ready to drop a pro4 4000kv in mine. It will deff be on 3s most of the time and some 4s.. I was looking at a 60t spur, to keep heat down. Now seeing some 56/11 gearing without issue, I'm stoked to go big power!

Oh yeah, I beefed up the entire drive line before adding the pro4 / MMP actually. Just added some CB Ti rear axle shafts last week after bending both stockers.

Running the same combo here. The Axial front sway bar with the lowest rate, and some suspension tuning over the wekeend did wonders for mine. Can't wait to throw a 4s pack on it now.

Be careful with those new axles. I twisted both tangs then broke the short side and the long side looks like a banana now. Great product for a crawler just not beefy enough imo for a wraith with that much power. They did last about 8 months thou. I have been running stockers for about a year now and they get bent but change them out once the wheel is noticeably wobbly going down the road.

It is a ton fun thou!!! One of my favorite rcs to just rip it up with!!!

Well, that's not good. Hopefully mine survive longer than that considering I bought the best available. Oh well, if they let go I'll go back to running the cheap stockers I suppose. Thanks for the heads up!

Default pro4 question

On my G6 I'm running the new Pro4HD 3500kv with 54t /32p spur and a 12t 32p pinion to keep it cool and it's scary on 3s. I also tried it with 4s and saw the tires ballon up lol. In order to run power like that you definitely need to upgrade trans gears to metal ones drive shafts, lockers, and links also cause it will twist and break anything up bad.

Hey guys need your opinion. I got a MZ ultra4 and I'm trying to think of what motor too use. I have a pro4 4600kv and it's fast. But I really like the pro4hd. So the question is go with another pro4 4600kv or pro4hd 4300kv?
