Default Rx and ESC in same box?

I have seen it done and also been advised not to put the esc and rx in the same electronic box. Whats your opinion? Is there an interference issue I need to worry about?

I want to install a tekin fx-r and futaba r304sb rx into the stock G6 electronic box. I would like it be a nice and clean install. One box would be ideal...thanks

believe this was mainly for the older radios before 2.4 ghz due to interference. can still cause interference but not like on the older radios...someone who knows more will come and correct me soon I am sure...

Ok. Thanks for the quick replys. Forgot to mention that I also have a CCbec to install as well. I am not really after waterproofing, just splash and derbis proofing. Is heat an issue with this ESC (tekin fx-r)?

Puttem in the same box. If you have an issue, guess you'll need 2 boxes, ehh? But you won't.

.4"x2"x1"? did you mean 4"x2"x1". Cuz the .4" seems like an awfully small length, and couldn't find any in a search.
