I use the nimh battery because it came with the truck. You guys can say it's not safe to mix the batteries until you're blue in the face. Regardless....it works. And it works very well. I'm not scared to venture outside of my comfort zone and try different things. But I bought the truck to bash and I'm gonna run it til it's dead. And I bet it's not gonna be the batteries that kills it

To the few that actually helped with ideas...I appreciate it. I got the scx10 fixed yesterday and runs like a dream. Even went as far as runnin em through the ditch in my front yard. It was full of water and completely submerged the rc's. Got em nice and clean haha. For the rest of you who. Keep hatin on my battery mix. Been runnin this rig with this battery setup since day one which was a little over 2 months ago and she's still kickin....so I'll continue to prove you wrong and IF it breaks I'll upgrade. Simple as that

I run nimh batteries because i don't want to deal with lipo bull in water. and yes i listen to casette tapes.
