Default Low power reverse

After installing a new ESC recently everything is working properly except my rig has extremely low power when transmitting reverse. If I turn my throttle rim to reverse it has good power, it's only when I use the trigger to reverse that I have the problem. I have tried to re-calibrate with no improvement. I am baffled. Any ideas what could wrong? This is a pretty new rig, everything is still like new. It is a TacticTTX300 Transmitter hooked up to my Axial scx10 Deadbolt
