Wiring winch issues

Hello,

I have just wired up my 3 racing winch to my 3rd channel.

But on the in-line chip on the winch wiring it has a click for wind out, stop, wind in.

When I push the button on the controller it just goes straight from wind out to wind in can’t get it to stop in between.

Controller is a CR3P absima.

Anything I need to do?

Sounds as if your winch needs a 3 position switch and you’ve got a 2 position. If so get a wireless winch controller

I’m guessing you mean the controller only has a 2 way switch for the 3rd channel? which is what I thought as it just clicks on and off.

Guess I will have to use the 3rd channel on my controller for lights and like you say buy a seperate winch controller.

I’m using one of these with my chinese z10 winch. Works wonderfully on my gt3c.
