Default So, I guess I'm a Chump..............

Well the time had finally come to retire the BiggaH berg. Loved running the truck all year and it worked well for me. After some talking and a lot of back and forth. I acquired a Chump RT 2.5 I have always liked this chassis, but was never in the place to get one. Don't get me wrong I love my Y-town products, but I wanted to do something else. So I will get on to a couple pics from building some links and spacers yesterday. I will update the thread with my parts list as I go. Figured I needed to start somewhere A big thanks to Bryce (95 geo) for the help in his kick ass shop Also a huge thanks to Nabil for making this build possible and for putting up with me Last, but not least thanks to Rick at SuperShafty.com and John at Holmes Hobbies you guys are the best

A pic before the tear down.

No looking back now

Lowers bent up.

Building the al uppers.

Ready for axles.

Bryce running the lathe for some spacers.

Did a little milling on the lower link mounts.

This is where I'm at now, heading out in a few to get the rest worked out

Stay tuned,
Farmer

Sweet that is what I'm running too!

I've tried to get a cab made, I keep getting forgotten about though..

Which shocks are you going to run? I am using SCX-10.

Will be running a body until I can get a cf cab cut. Once it's up and going I will start on finding a person that will do it

You're quite welcome, it was a fun day in the shop!

This is how you cut a bunch of 2mm wide spacers and make sure they're flat while not losing them!

About time this chassis gets some time. I'm sure it'll be working this weekend. Where's mine?

Man Bryce that shop is sick not to mention that 1:1 in these pics. I still need my link mount flattened out yet.
