Small update Added all the pieces to the passenger's side of the rig to make the front fender. The fenders will also support the hood so all of the abuse isn't limited to just the four stock self-tapping screws. I guess now it's time to make the front winch plate and stinger. Yeah but , like the old saying You can polish a turd and no matter what, you still have a turd.. so all in all, it's still a Nylint. elephino |

Yeah, yeah. The brake tubing didn't like the tight bend for the apex of the stinger so it has a little kink. I'll fill the bottom with brazing alloy and file it out so it keeps a constant diameter and radius. Oh, btw Twisted...elephigivaphuc |

Since Twisted pointed out on AIM that the radius for the stinger was too tight I lopped off the top and made a new one. Alcohol and tubers don't mix. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 01-20-2006 at 11:57 PM. |

LMAO! Asymmetrical buggies are where it's at! Figured I'd get a couple of mock-up shots. |

With every shot my junk looks better and better, until half-way through the bottle the turd on my bench looks absolutely fabulous. NASA grade stuff! Throw fire into the mix and it's instant party. How I made it this far with all body parts intact is a mystery.... The rig is looking awsome, where did you get the grid board at? I could really use one of those. That board is a self-healing cutting mat I picked up at Staples. It's made by Fiskars. |

I bought this to have a clean spot for pictures...sometimes a towel just doesn't cut it. To actually build and align parts for the truck I don't use the mat. The mat would be too easily damaged when welding. This stays in the office, all the tube work is done in the garage. You'd be surprised at how few tools I'm using. | |
