He said it will be less than $495. I can see it being between $399 and $450. This isn't made from Axial plastics. It's going to have high quality metal and plastic parts.

It is at the high end of what I was expecting but I don’t think it’s unreasonable. I was trying to think of something comparable since it’s a completely upgraded kit and the only thing that really comes to mind is the VP origin. The vs4-10 is now $750 (and coupon eligible at Amain) so that’s a price difference of $300 without any coups. The origin comes with a body set with an interior, bumpers, sliders, plastic beadlocks, and tires; and of course the vanquish axles. I’m more keen on the ssd transmission and some of the other updates, so I’m still in, but $50 less would have been cool too I know we’ve all been dying to find out Last edited by Topher Builds; 05-30-2019 at 07:25 AM. |

Comparing a sample of SSD products available at GCM's site converted to USD vs their prices at RPP, the GCM site averages about 6% higher than RPP. If the trend is consistent, that would make the SSD kit around $425 at US dealers.

ahhh… some light shed on possible price. nice Sherlocking the internetz! over $400 will take a bit more time for me to slang some of my other collectables on the auction site, but i should be able to swing it. if pre-orders are still available after june 15th, i might have some birthday fun tickets to throw in there also. ;) but its hard to deny, ~$425 would be nice to throw at the enduro with room for upgrades... hurrmmmmmmm... The Trail King won’t need upgrading. The full product details will be released next week. I’m confident that when you see the complete product the price will be right.

Thats when you give her your truck to keep and you buy the SSD trail king ;) win-win Quote:
When will I (we) see the complete product? I know it wont need upgrades but... I'm trying to justify a kit for the cost of an upgraded rtr. Just know I have enough confidence in your product that I haven't pre ordered an element enduro, and I'm still posting in this thread Last edited by Shinchu; 05-30-2019 at 10:29 PM. | |

If a scx10.2 umg was purchased and a new vs4 chassis kit was purchased, you would still need to surpass the ssd kit in price to get it on quality par. This idea alone, nobody should really think twice about buying the ssd kit. Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk |

This waiting is buzzkilling me hard. I appreciate some of the sneak peek photos, but at this point I'm bored and would rather companies release a product right away. Take for example the different way that the two main hobby stores I browse on, RPP and Amain, add products. Products go on RPP when the order goes in, and therefore are always out of stock when first added to the site under "New Items". On Amain, they're added to the site on their "Recently Added" page when they have stock arrive, so if I see something I like, I can order it and it is on its way. With RPP, I forget and they lose my business. My point: if this truck was released right away I'd have one on its way to me already. Now that I've had to wait so long, I am doubting if I'll even order one and will maybe go with the Associated rig. End pout/rant. |
