Yes engine options can come later. It's not cheap to make multip piece full color engines. No painting needed.

Yeah understandable would be nice to see a more modern engine besides 3d printed.

I'm wondering how the gear mesh is set for the motor? I just checked in the manual and didn't see anything.

My experience with the GCM scale tranny and setting mesh was a guessing game, move the motor check the backlash, move, check and so on until you're happy.

Theres a list of optional parts at the end of the manual

You set the mesh on the motor plate then mount it in the trans with gcm. Not sure how it's a guessing game. I'm sure this is the same.

The gear you mesh with is not captured on one end and moves around hence the guessing game. They even say to check if its correct listen and feel it, its not a simple matter of looking at it even by their admission.

All gear mesh is a guessing game even if you can see it. Guess get better with experience though.
