I need this. This is all I need. I have enough already but this... this I need. I will have one. I really hope this does well for HPI. They need this even more than I do. I also hope HPI can keep up with the demand for parts and upgrades because I want this to succeed! I've owned a couple dozen of their cars, trucks and buggies over the past 15 or so years and they've always taken care of any issues I run into. I want them to be around for another 15+ years.

I really hate HPI sometimes. I want a new rig for the summer season, and I'd like to know when this is coming out. Would it really that difficult to give us a month and price estimate? Just tell me if it will be out by summer.

I really hope this model is on the market soon because I'm in the market for a new crawler to share with my kids. This HPI crawler looks like a really nice platform. If it compares well with a Vaterra Ascender, I'll definitely consider one. If it isn't on the market, within the next couple months, I'll go with the Ascender.

Browsed through the thread, again, but couldn't find any info on the tyre size.

Took some measurements from the side picture and after a rough calculation ended with about 110mm (4.3") tall. Anybody know any better?

I do hope this rig makes it onto the scene, been hearing some nasty rumors about the possible fate of HPI.

I'd hate for a great looking scaler to just sit in a hard drive for ever.

They've missed the boat... I have talked to at least a half dozen people who were trying to patiently wait and said F it and ordered another axial kit instead:ror

The sad thing is... I can build something without even touching an axial RTR or kit. I was willing to wait a bit to see something new. But I can't wait forever. Nice weather will be here soon and is like to get out this year and enjoy my tiny trucks.

I'm sure whatever is going on at HPI is slowing this down, hopefully it still comes out..

Unfortunately it looks like Thad may have checked out about a month ago now... I really like the look of this truck, but like Harley I do fear that other than some prototypes it may be relegated to a hard drive rather than on the rocks/trails. We are coming into what is generally recognized as the season to be outside and playing (although not really an issue here in Texas ) and so far HPI has not mentioned anything about a date or price.

And if HPI is in trouble as a company as Harley alluded to then I really do not want a truck that will be completely unsupported in the future other than possibly a smattering of some aftermarket parts. And if the company is not around to build the truck then you can absolutely bet the aftermarket will not gear up..

With that being said, I really hope it comes to fruition. Sure there are a few little things that I am not crazy about, but overall it looks like a really good truck.

As they have working samples and exhibition models, I'm sure it will be released in the next few months.
The time/money has already been spent on it. The hard part is done. So it's just a matter of production and packing now.
