Built one years ago. It was fun. posted that before all the pics were linked that I could see. Turned into a generic term for an scx10 on ar60s. Last edited by Brake Weight; 03-13-2019 at 09:00 PM. | |

Does the fact that it has body clips on the hood mean it'll be easy to take off the body and get to the internals? If so, then heck yeah boi! I got tired of that dance with the Wraith and the Bomber that I used to own. I'm getting tired of my 1.9 Rockbeast XLs rubbing on the fenders of whichever body I run them with. This looks like that won't be a problem. I'd love to see a photo of the Wraith 1.9 sitting next to a Deadbolt or any other SCX10 ii. Then again, maybe one of my local hobby shops has one on display. |

So where does this fall in the SORRCA Rules? Or are the SORRCA rules going to be rewritten to take this in?

meh I've had one for years. The narrow skid looks like it'll perform a bit better than mine. Also the smaller pumpkins on the axles will help. But compared to the VP panhard mount on mine the one on this thing looks like a flimsy POS. The body does look good though. And I like how it matches the cage. And the amain problem with this is that you can't comp with it. Not in the WRCCA Performance Scale class or SORRCA. Unless you want your ass handed to you in C3. I really doubt SORRCA will change the rules for this. Then they would have to let all tubers in C2. I wish that WRCCA would change their rules to allow tubers in their scale class. But I really do like how it looks. Last edited by Scrap; 03-14-2019 at 12:16 AM. Reason: Reasons. |

I was told by my LHS that they will be receiving theirs tomorrow. He acted like pricing was either $360 or $369. Lets hope thats true.

Show me where to get a set that is reasonably priced. IIRC there was someone making them way back when the 1.9 Wraith frenzy started. They cost a lot. It was over $100 as I remember it. As this is an Axial it'll cost around $400 then another $100 to make it legal. Then to get even half decent electronics for it. And all for nothing as the body has a pinched front and a dovetail and it has boatsides. You can have only two of those three mods in C2. So you still can't comp it. |

Seems to be sensible/logical move by Axial, SCX10 II driveline in a new Wraith tube chassis. I dont mind it actually.

I guess this is good for someone that doesn't wanna build one, I built my own with AR44s already so this didn't really do much for me but hey for those that want one they now have that option. I'm actually trading mine off today for another Marlin. Here's mine |

I never understood the interest in a 1.9 Wraith, but I'm obviously one of the only people who doesn't. It appears that despite my lack of interest/understanding, that this is a truck that is exactly what a lot of people were hoping for. Good job Horizon!

Very nice Axial! Been done to death, but still very nice. "Bronco" body is killer. |

| Re: A new AXIAL I like mine, it crawls great and fits in with other 1.9 rigs well, I wanted the home made woods buggy look. But I have another project I wanted to do and this got me what I needed. What I like about a 1.9 Wraith is you still have to pick a line not just barrel over everything like you do with 2.2s and wider axles.

I applaud Axial for this one. They responded to the flood of c-channel framed, lexan body scale trucks taking market from the SCX10II by releasing something that doesn't currently have a competitor. Axial is really the only game in town for a RTR tube chassis scale vehicle and people seem to love those.
