Sits pretty low. Also alot lighter than a 540 size motor.

Working on rebuilding the shocks now.

Shock are rebuilt and mounted up! 40 WT and 1.8 rate springs rear. 35wt and 1.4 rate springs front. ( Changed after i took the pic!) Going to try the links and shocks setup like this first. Sits a hair over 3 inches of clearance like this. Mocked up with some assassins.

I love live builds, and this chassis is interesting, almost makes me wish that I didn't get rid of the WK tranny!

Glued to the screen...

When you get a chance post me up a picture of that dig setup. The main thing with this setup is going to be space!
I will probably have to do a driveshaft dig setup.

Going to go work on driveshafts and electronics next!!

Does the chassis flex much at the shock mounts?

It is very stout! It does a very little but not much.
I plan on making a electronics tray above the motor tomorrow.
You could put a brace between the sideplates if flex was a concern also.

Got the tranny today cali, Thanks

With the links and shock setup like it is now it is 3.1/8th inches.
The pumkin clearance is 1.5 inches. These link/ shock mounts really tuck up close to the axle for better clearance.

I was close to getting all the electronics ready to install last night and did this.

( male to male plugs on motor leads!!)

Planning on making some electronics trays today after a trip to lowes and local hobby shop again.

I was thinking of something like this for a electronics tray/spot.
With only a tekin fxr and a spektrum rec i dont think it will affect my cog to bad.
What do you guys think?
This will be temporary till i get some delrin.
I think i could also do some kind of L-bracket to drop it down a little closer to the top of the motor.

Also notice in the pic below i switched out knuckles and c's. Put on some RCP crawlers clockable c's and knuckles. I was having clearance issues with the srtc ones.

I like the electronics plate. But if you can lower it do it. I don't think of will matter much with that tiny esc and receivers weigh next to nothing. If anything lower it so the body won't have a change to rub.

Been working on getting the steering and battery plate dialed in. Got this from a fella on here and decided to use it. had to make a few modifications to it. Wanted to make sure i had this servo bolted down good.

Putting electronics in next!!
