But got to say... This build has been nice to read and has few really clever 'developments'
After the last comp i lowered it a 1/4 inch front and back and brought the belly down to 2.3/4 inches. Helped a little on the steep climbs and sidehills but i did notice it hanging up a little more on the breakovers.
Kinda a even trade thing.
The little puller gets quite warm!!!! After a good sprint it does but if not full throttle all the time its managable. Even on 2 cell lipo. I think 3 cell might be to much for it. But the torque is incredible. It likes to pop the drive yokes off the front!! (Gotta have a weak spot)

I am using the traxxas max shafts. Part# 4951x i believe, yep,
http://www.tcscrawlers.com/4951x-Hal...4-p-16294.html
These work great with the stock gears. If you are going to run axial ring and pinion gears you have to do it a little different.

What yokes are you using? I know the Traxxas yokes accept 5mm shafts, but the Wheely King is 6mm at the axles and tranny.

I run Traxxas yokes on Wheely King axles by drilling them out to 6mm.

I just use the stock WK yoke. The traxxas shafts snap right on the metal ball deal/thingy!! I didnt use the chrome ones that come with the shafts.

Like swelte said also you can drill them out also.

I was trying this setup because i was running the axial gears in the front.
These were axial shafts with the traxxas metal yoke ( for axail end) and the wk yoke wedged in the other end.
It held up great. i just didnt like the like the way it looked on the other end .

Update. I have run this rig in 4 comps so far. My results have been a 4th place, 3rd place, 2nd place and yesterdays comp a 1st place!!

With my homemade dig this rig has been crawling great for me!!
Going to keep fine tuning it!!

Looks good, have you had any interference between the motor and front driveshaft?

Just a little. But only if you press the suspension straight down. if it is flexing side to side its ok.
If i drop down to a 90t spur and go up to a 13 pinion it would give me more clearance. (Running 12/96 now)
