Looks like a good setup! Planning on competeing with it? It would be nice to see some Wheely Kings showing up some Axials.

Oh yeah!! I plan on comping with it soon.
The dig is still in the works so i may try a driveshaft dig till then.
( If i can find the build thread on it)

Tranny was built with CKRC Aluminum tranny gears.

Got the tranny and side plates mounted before wife got mad!
Had to shave down the tranny side post a little at a time till skid fit properly.( Just eyeballed and cut with a exacto!)
Ended up looking like this.

Mounted up. ( Tightened one side too much and broke the post off bottom of tranny. So be careful since post are short after trimming.)

Got the motor and mount put in. I am going to run a 12t pinion and a 96t spur.

Using revo rod ends you will have to trim them a little on the side of the tranny where the screws stick out. Like this.

Otherwise they bind up here.

Turned out like this with the skid mounted. As you can see i still can trim a hair off the tranny post.

Instead of trimming rod ends, I swapped out the stock trans screws with some countersunk ones

Watching build. Have all the parts and wife wants a comp rig.

Is the chassis too narrow for a brushed motor?

Got the axles mounted up. Trying to get a better angle on the steering.
Looks like i am going to need a few jato rod ends.

Also went back and countersunk the bottom tranny bolts so that i wouldnt have to shave the rod ends down. Thanks for the help don!!

That's pretty cool how it sticks the motor out in the front. Can you take a even side shot to show how low that motor is sitting in the chassis?
