Thanks chongdigga. I cant say enough about this motor. I was going to run a 13t pinion/90 spur, combo but went with the 12/96 instead. Would have been mega quick otherwise.
I hope the part hold up ,it seems to have a ton of torque.
Dig soon to come!!!

Got the electronics moved down a little more. Used part of a old wk battery box!! Sits almost right on top of the motor.

That Holmes motor is badass. I had no idea until I saw it running in person. I can only imagine what a 540 puller would do

After running this thing for awhile now i must say it just plain incredible.
I ended up selling both of my axial based slingshots!!!
I am going to run it in its first comp next weekend.
The dig is working well. The motor is great. It has eaten up 3 sets of front diff gears! I am working on retrofitting the axial overdrive gears in the front. Should have the parts soon!!!

Awsome truck. Im glad to see a WK put to good use. I used mine in comps untill the Losi came out. Now I use the axles and trans on my scaler. Although they are a bit to wide for a scaler. Have you had any trouble with the axles being to wide in comps?

Take your rig apart and make templates of the chassis and motor mount! It's now a "limited-edition"!

Update. Took 3rd in my second comp with the WK. Dig is holding up awesome. New HD gears front and back hold up to the motor. Just need a punisher driveshaft now. Lower it another 1/4 inch so it would climb alittle steeper.

What's your ride height, and does the puller get heated much?
Here's few questions for you, answer if you like to
But got to say... This build has been nice to read and has few really clever 'developments'
