Everything is covered in a half inch of ice... I'm guessing no fun on the rocks and think we should call it.

Ok before i start cutting sheet metal. I'm looking to add scale points and new panels to my c3 kong rig. .
I currently have lexan ..I'm thinking alum.. .025" thickness does that matter? ... so will I get points? For hard panels ?

fwiw, i dont think flat panels are considered hard body points. those kinda questions i would ask in the sorrca questions thread just to double check.

i was ready this time! ;)

now ill discharge these lipos, again.

i think my c.i. dual stage foams in timmy are shot, my tsls seem to fold under the wheels alot easier than they used to. i got the c.i. single stages, so maybe that will be one of the days activities. im hoping my vp omf wheels havent pinch-cut the beads on my tsls, but im pretty sure they will be. ive never taken a proline tsl off a beadlock and not had a pinch cut bead...

took the tsls of timmies beadlocks, and yeah my lil novas are wore the f out and VERY nasty.... and its that black f'n mold in there? dafuk? water definitely f'd these foams up. next time i run dual stage foams im gluing them to each other to keep the outer foam from sliding around.

luckily the xl tsls havent got one pinched bead. gonna seal up my vent holes and put in my dueces wild single stage foams. still thinking on whether or not to remove the wheel weights.

i got the dueces wilds foams in timmies tsl xl's. theyre definitely not as soft and aired down (flat) feeling as the old dual stage foams, but i got gobs more sidewall support and they fill out the tire better. i think what ill lose in bite ill gain with sidehill stability and clearance.

This reads pretty much like the old shafty comp class with exception of the winch.

from what ive seen on fb alot of the nwi guys appreciate scale builds like we do. if i make it down to any of those i'll try to just have fun and see what happens.

i wish like hell i had an old txt or juggy2 based comp rig for that overkill class...

i dont have a rig i could run these on, but its a cool setup. mounted some old imex all-t's to some methods i was gonna use on my yeti. the imex rubber is about the same as the old rc4wd compound but the rubber is better quality (10 or so years old no cracks) and i think some wd40 would soften them pretty good.

i like the look. with some better foams the sidewalls would bulge a bit more.

If you don't like it why not start your own series?

You can't go into this series thinking about scale points. Build your rigs for SORRCA event's and use this as practice... I'm not all that excited about this NWITTC season.
I kinda doubt I'll have all my rigs ready for the first event... in Feb.

EDIT: and if you don't go to every event, you have almost no chance of beating someone who did (well, unless you are driving Melons maybe! ) and you know me... if I can't win, I don't really want to play.
