You guys should try to make it to the next event in Rockford. We run like a G6 style no hand of god. Were have simple score cards at the next meet running as partners for scoring. We try and have giveaways at the bigger meets. Last time we just numbered trucks and everyone voted for coolest truck. No scale points really.

i noticed funky camber when we all lined up our trucks for the first ttc event (pull). i checked the knuckles and bearings and wheel nuts and didnt see anything loose so i just ran all day, got home yesterday and figured id see wtf the deal was, and it ends up my lockedup scale lugnuts were close to coming off!

i checked every single screw the night before, besides them damn lugnuts. ;)

good times. the casual fun of the ttc made up for the first two TOUGH comp days.

Well CrawlinMike saw my post about the sled and now a guy is interested in it.

I bought that thing so it wouldn't leave the NIRC group, so we could use it. While I'm the actual owner it's still sort of an NIRC sled. I've posted up a couple times over the last few months that someone needs to buy it from me since they're going to relocate me to SoCal after this project. No one has voiced any interest in doing so. I left if with Johnny so you could use it for a TTC while I was in Canada. That was 2 years ago and I still don't have it back.

This is your chance...it's a nice piece but if I don't have any NIRC takers I'm going to let it go. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

Sounds good Trey. If it stays there good. If it comes here it'll be for "circ" comps and probably hobb e mart pulls. They've been interested in getting a sled for awhile, and when I seen your post it clicked. Because I knew that's a sweet arse sled!

does anybody else know geoff won best of show at the concourse for his c1 chevy? i think thats just as cool as winning a class or the ttc.

As I was taking to the the guy who kicked ass in denver i figured he must be a local..nope MG200 from Oregon..said he comps once a month back home ..i said I wish we can do that back home in Chicago i just go to other people's comps ..sucks....we don't have the spots or people.. nwittc is fun but lacking the proper rules / difficulty to get ready for big comps...all I know is guru's is next and i hope I do alot better there then denver !

I just want to see it used also and sounds like you will need it before us...how far are you guys?

Springfield il. It's a bit of a drive from Chicago. I'm not sure what's been discussed between the guy that manages the shop and events and Trey. I only got em aware that Trey was sellin and he was lookin ;). Looks like someone local up there might be ahead in line of us. All I know now is what I've seen in this thread. There's a Facebook page they've all been pretty active on. Central Illinois RC crawlers. A group goes crawling every weekend, and a few went to the stl g6 and did well. Had a whole stand repping falcon hobbies there.
