whats that saying?, "dont lose sight of the moon counting the stars."

hera is cool. but melons is proven. you know what to do to it and what it needs. its solid and it works. i'd go for steel spools and super300's. make it bulletproof.

hera is your next hassle and moneypit.

BTW does anybody want to trade a 2.2 proline tsl for an extra 1.9 rc4wd bogger? i hate to order another pair of tsl's just to have one spare...

I've yet to have an issue with the Axial CVDs + gunnar pins. I do agree about the steel spools though; I used a set from FLM but they tend to be hard to get ahold of.

Maybe getting rid of the Summit tranny on Buxom might shed the extra weight that is *may* be causing issues with it.

I have busted Axial cracked the shaft off. Neil has also. They work but not the best plan. MIP is much stonger.

I can get FLM. I know Jamie he is the owner. Let me know if you want to go that route. If he still makes them.

300's are the best.

An adjustable Tie Rod for the Wraith.
I'm going to make one from Threaded Rod but I won't be able to sleeve it because of the bends around the pumpkins.

MIP did make AX/SCX10 CVD's. I was running them in Melons till a bearing got stuck on them.

Mega Fattie is going to need some steering links made up so, I can make some extras if you guys want. I used 1/4" solid stainless to make the links on all of our trucks. I can do M3 or M4 tapped holes.
Just let me know how long you want them and ill give them to ya straight and you guys can bend them.

Pattern it on wood, make your total length measurement, sleeve it then make the bends, that is how I do it.

And the builds are now officially out of control, on top of finishing my 2 hilux's and working on the chassis for my 6X6, rebuilding the drive train and rear end on my Wraith, I have now taken on a custom Fat Strat guitar build. Bidding on a couple "chassis" as I type. Electronics are all worked out. Funny, the electronic are actually cheaper than an nice crawler's electronics. Now the chassis is a great deal more.

At least the Taco steering is all redone and I do have another 8 or 9 guitars to play while I am building this one.

I think it's time to start an IL "Builds" thread
