Illinois Gun Grab!

When was the last time a. 50bmg was used in a crime? How about a true legally owned assault rifle( once since 1936 and by a cop)? How would banning high cap mags stop violence in Chicago where usually only 1 or 2 shots are needed?

Basically, all it will do is make criminals out of about 3 million people in the state.

We need to pay a criminal to go on a shooting rampage with no magazine..we'll have him just chamber each round manually and blast like 37 of those basterds who came up with this crap. This is crazy. At first I thought it was a hoax. It's definately not. They're talking felony charges for possession! That's a big deal, a felony charge would potentially ruin your life. Something like this is scary though. There's no telling what people will do when they come in and try to sieze firearms! I don't want to be a felon...but I sure don't want to be defenseless, especially when something like firearm seizure is happening. Would the federal governmeant just sit by and watch the state violation the US Constitution? I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out, what else can you do?

I guess we're all just going to have to go down to dicks sporting goods and get some giant f-ing .357 revolvers! I didn't see any mention of those on the ban list. It's gonna be cowboys and f-ing indians! Woo!

I just can't believe this crap. I hope everyone stands up for their second amendment rights. I seen some hardcore gun owners that would rather go out in a blaze of gunfire than have someone rob them of their right to bare arms.

im in the market for a illegal ar15 if anybody knows anybody...

id much rather get in trouble for owning an illegal gun after ive defended myself than get freaking murdered because the criminals know im defenseless.

I won't give up my firearms felony or not. So far I've got a clean record and I'm sure there are thousands behind me sharing my belief. Other states look like they have set a precedent going against federal laws with the marihuana issues.

I actually do know someone that could get illegal firearms here in Chicago. He's kind of a flake though, but who isn't that's tied to that world. Geez, can you imagine the underground market this would create??

Now that is a true American speaking , We The People are the "Employer" of these jackass' (from Obummer down), the same constitution that gives you the right to bear arms provides provisions to hold the elected accountable.
Trouble is most folks just bury there heads in the sand and when they pull it out to take a peek more has been lost.

My only hope is that there are enough non chicago politicians to stop this.

I loved hearing the head of the chicago police saying we need more laws to stop criminals... is he really that dumb to think criminals care about laws?

And they are crazies or phsycos that will pick up their guns to protect their rights. They are Americans!. When I joined the Army I took an oath to protect against enemies both foreign and domestic. Any attempt to take guns from a well regulated militia is a threat to national security.
