Yeah, i think its a total of $4 to get signed up on there. Its pretty easy. Just like ebay. Except you can pick as low as a 1 day auction. Prices are up on everything right now.. Not so much on pistols but, 1911's are money anyways. You can sell it and pick up a G26 and probably come out ahead. I think gen4 glocks are going for about $530-$630 Last edited by Die-Laughing; 01-15-2013 at 08:16 AM. |

Cool. I'll get that guy listed. It's a nice gun and all but like your brother, I've had my share of issues with it.

Yeah, from what I hear they are great target / shelf queen guns. They look sexy as hell but, the glock is a reliable combat weapon. I have a Sig Sauer P6 9mm pistol. Its 31 years old. Its gonna be my carry. Someday I'd like to get a glock. Probably stay in 9mm.

They're sweet, I would say that it is absolutely the most trustworthy gun I own. Easy to clean and just so simple. I have a model 23. I've never had a 9mm. Only .40 and .45, you know what they say about Texas! I want to get the model 27 which is the baby version of my model 23, both .40 caliber.

Yeah, I been thinking about a G26 for a little while. I think its the same as the G27 except in 9mm. They used to be a little over $500 and now they are a little over $600. I'm affraid to handle on in the store cause I might like it. |

You will. And then you'll buy it. Ha, I know that feeling all too well! I'm kinda curious to see these lowers of yours. I don't fully understand what AR parts are compatible with my Colt. I might need to come over with mine and see if they're interchangeable. We should have another campfire night! That was fun! |

A lower is a lower as far as I understand. PSA is a good company. quality products. I can pretty much go any direction with the gun. Your 6920 stuff is fukin' gold right now man. I've seen complete colt lowers going for well over what you paid for your whole gun. Don't sell it though! Yeah, campfire. Maybe I can set up some range time one day at the private range 5min from my house. My brother knows a guy. Go dump some ammo then start fires and down beers. I'll start getting it together. |

the only "AR" variant that wont fit are the original Colt M16. There are very very few out there and the ones that are, are priced out of the realm that you will ever touch them. You know... I dont have a 1911. Of course I dont have a CCW I could trade you either. |

I'll sell it to you! It hasn't been shot much. It's a beautiful gun. I replaced the original rubber grips with some dark wood grain. I still have the originals too. When I first got it I had some issues with it. It wasn't ejecting shells properly. I sent it back to Kimber and they must have put 1000 rounds through it because when it came back it was filthy, LOL. That didn't bother me because that meant they really took the time to figure out the problem. They ended up replacing the ejector. I haven't had any issues with it ejecting shells since. It's a stainless II. This isn't the actual photo. They're running $900 new. I'd take $800 for it. It might as well be new. |

Hahaha nice. Edit: yeah, that'll work. I think they just compare it to your DL photo and see if its the same person, then use your DL pic. Also, like jetboat said, crop it. Bottom of zipper pull to a little above the top of the head, then center it left to right. Last edited by Die-Laughing; 01-15-2013 at 01:39 PM. |

Yeah, I heard that before. Meh. Honestly, I think you should just have some form of personal protection. After you get your FOID, we'll go to the store and you can handle some pistols and look at them, get a feel for what size/caliber you like, go to the range, shoot some guns, etc. (I'll go with if you want. I know I felt like a dummy the first time I was trying to handle a weapon) You gotta start somewhere. It doesn't have to turn into a hobby. |

Get a zombie gun! I have a lot of toys but I'd still prefer my Remington 870 12 gauge if I was in a bad situation. That bitch is MEAN. You can own those in cook county! Its just a shotgun. Hell I bought it at Walmart.
