i put the 2.2 pits on mine and there really wasnt anywhere i couldnt follow my buddy with 1.9 scaler cept when it came to pure size. if i put a few ounces of weight up front it might even drive better than it has been. which is hard to believe.

Yeah I put Iroks on mine last night which are as big as the pits, I like the look of the bigger tires over the PL swampers that were on it.

yup, the swapers are a tad small. the tsl's should hook up well. 5.75 works out to be about a 35" scale tire.

What are you gonna use that on? I hear it's not designed for electrics.

On the electronics, these Jeeps weren't designed to do what we do with them either.

I did'nt see electronics listed as one of the things to use this on, but don't remember seeing anything about it not being suggested. I will double check tonight but am not worried, I know people that have been using this stuff with good results.

Took the Willys out today with Sellenk and Ramination at Belle Isle. I ended up glueing the cowl on since the stock mounting was removed, it didnt last long as you can see in the vid. I will get it on more securely before my next outing, as well as switching the arm in the motor to a 35t, the 25t was not happy pushing this pig around. It crawled pretty well, needs some knuckle weight up front and the steering needs some re working, all in all I was pleased and had a blast on the wet slick rock today.

A little vid courtesy of Sellenk

Thanks, it will only get better after a few adjustments. Driving this thing is a different type of fun for sure.

Get one they are a blast. I am really surprised how capable it is and with the changes I have made and some new goodies on the way it should get even better. Coming from comp I can't help but hit comp lines with this rig.

Not sure maybe do some searching and you can find something, or just try it you may be on to something.
