Vitavon now wants another $ 1600. for the aluminum centered axles, and centered skid plate for the transmission, just so I can do my SOA/4 link front suspension.
And then there's replacing the servo with a more viable 1/5 scale servo $ 200.-400. ish.
And finally another $ 250. ish to purchase that MambaX-8

I think this will be the most expensive RC I've ever paid for
But it's gonna be cool

And I already built my own 1/6 scale

https://youtu.be/8knaI0NuQI0

damn this sickness.

Dang me to 'ell and back ! Do you have build thread for this monster ?
I'd like follow along ! What are you using to weld these rod frames together ?
Or are you brazing them together ? That 3/16" rod ?
I'd think that 1/4" rod or maybe even chromoly tubing would be more inline for a build that big ?

I built that about 10 years ago it used to sit on heavily modified exceed maxstone 5 axles but I had nothing but trouble with those axles it seemed I came up with a upgrade solution just to move the problem down the line till I just gave up and waited for a new axle option
When I start the rebuild I'll make a new thread

I think it's 1/4 solid rod I didn't measure it though could be 3/8 and I just used a cheap harbor freight hot glue gun to melt the metal together

I would post a link to the build thread but it's kinda stupid

Funny thing is you posted in that thread about 6 or 7 years ago lol

But like I sead the thread was kinda stupid probably why you don't remember i dident really have much of a clue and spent way to much trying to do some thing that didn't work out vary well oh well someday I'll learn lol

Just to refresh your memory here's a horable video of it doing something

what driveline are you using ?
Looks much like my Wraith including the axles (AR60, AR90 copies ?)
Don't make me read back... I'm feeling kind of lazy about that

There ar90s clones metal of some sort potmetal most likely they don't feel like aluminum so I'm just guessing
A all aluminum case transmission and steel driveshafts
Aluminum beadlocks and cheap rock tyres

I just purchased two steel driveshafts from Vitavon.
Was the only real way for them to send me the correct length screws that fit their front shock towers (secure the front wheel wells).
They were somewhat pricey just to obtain the correct screw length but whatever, Vitavon sent me 4 screws so I'm good
But damn if these steel driveshafts don't add another lb. to this behemoth !
I swear this scx6 is fast approaching 40 lbs !
And I haven't even got their alloy axle housings yet !?
