I wont know for sure until I get length measurements from possible motors the Tekin 55t is on sale for just $30. but I want to be sure before I spend the money. I can only fit a 2 1/8 long motor, maybe a 2 1/4 , would have to cut into seat a lot. Accept for the tires it climbs crawls awesome. Like to have a Crawl motor and rock race motor |

The Tekin 55T is exactly 2-1/8" from endbell to where the shaft comes out of the motor.

HEY THANK YOU Nice to hear compliments Sme updates Take back what I said about Brushless, Castle has done some great firmware updates and with 3s lipo my Brushless BM16 it's crawling great ! the 55t would overheat and die Went crawling at Fordyce trail was doing some amazing log climbing, made it up the second try, took out the camera but I guess I suck trying to use camera at the same time. Went climbing on some awesome rocks and soon stripped the 48p spur gear DOh cant believe I did'nt do this sooner, upgraded to 32 pitch 66/14 Some lame VIDEOS , crawled great until I tried using camera at same time Crawl attempt with camera Need to add weight in the front wheels Log Crawl attempt with camera Climbed rock wall 14" tall, it was tough but it was tough for my berg as well Last edited by toy4crawlin; 08-28-2009 at 10:32 AM. |

Saw you in your Yota heading down I80 in Roseville, my son and I were next to you checking out the crawler and I was telling him that I had been following the build for a while and now there it is proped up on the top of the stack heading down the road.

Nice vid's! Are you thinking of switching out your tires to the plowboys that you mentioned I should use? I think with your chassis setup I think that it would look cool. Keep it UP! |
