It is aluminum and this particular truck is available here http://billet-works.com/dons_garage_super_sale_updated Updates coming soon, we had an issue on a tap for the skid plate so no production kits will make it out this week. Don BWD |

Looks like my first skids should arrive tomorrow, and another batch next week. Once they arrive and I verify quality, I will release them for sale on my site. Don BWD |

Have you tested this chassis with droop suspension yet? if so does it seem to work better than sprung.

It looks like it might sit a bit low droop, even at the lowest shock mount. I will try it though. I also plan on trying stock springs and stretched micro t springs for starters.

Yeah I wanna know how it works with the micro-t springs wrapped around the rod ends on the stock shocks like everyones doing...This works great with the stock chassis but this wedge looks sick I gotta have it |

| This chassis was actually designed to perform the way a sprung chassis should. I'm sure you could set it up droop, but it will sit very low with the stock shocks. The first small batch of these should be going out by the weekend so I am sure you will all see how people like them vs modded stock. They should release for sale on the site in the next day or two.

Website updated, production kits are finally expected to begin shipping 01-22-2010. Several kits are already currently en route to media outlets and a few builders chosen for first article builds, which will help those of you purchasing the kits to have more online resources available to help you tweak and tune your Micro Wedge to your driving style preference! Ordering has been activated on the site for those who want to lock theirs in first. The price went up slightly, but that is simply due to the addition of nylon ball cup rod ends now being included in the kit. That cuts down on your total investment into the Micro Wedge Conversion Kit by roughly 10%. Hit me up if you have any questions...and those of you who would rather wait until they are shipping to order...you will not be hurting my feelings one bit I assure you. I have plenty on the way and will make them until they stop selling...which I'm not planning on happening any time soon. Don BWD |

Ordered mine, and a wheel set #1. I had to do the wheel weight as a seperate order, because it wouldn't let me add anything else after I added one thing to the cart. Just so you know.

Just ordered a chassis and another set of wheel weights. I am in Fort Worth so if you want to send mine out early for a review and my thoughts on setup you would not hurt my feelings. |

Ordered my set too and a second set of wheel weights. Thanks a lot Don for all the hard work. I know how dificult it is to launch any new product. Are there any additional parts I need to purchase/order to make my conversion. My Hobby shop choices are limited to Hobby Town and, well Hobby Town. If I need to order parts on-line, I want to get them on order so I don't have to wait. Last question and I apologize if it is posted elsewhere. What have you found to be the ideal wheel weight set-up for climbing and decline? Just curious. Can't wait to receive my new parts!!!! Been checking everyday since I first came across your thread. |

Any way that we can get a pic of it next to a stocker? Also, I didn't go back an re-read everything, but was wondering if it extended the wheelbase any? Looks great and if I hadn't just bought a new plane and another heli, I'd be in right now, but it's gonna have to wait a bit for me.
