That's the exact model I'm using on my Mog build. While there were no real 8x8 Mogs, it would make a cool build. I'd be looking for a Tatra, Man, Scania or something like that. The Mog loyalists are gonna chew on ya if not. Sent from my SCH-I535 |

I guess the term would be "purists." Mog loyalists wouldn't care as long as it's being built in one form or another. Sent from my SCH-I535 |

If I were to build an 8x8 Mog, it'd be like this- The description for this pic said it was a model 2450 Unimog, but I can't find info on such a model. It looks to be based on the same series 435 (U1300) body as the model though. Check the spacing between the front axles. Sent from my SCH-I535 |

For the 8x8 I'd be looking for a Tatra, Man, or Scania. Leave the Mog to the 4x4 and 6x6 builds. Sent from my SCH-I535 |

After consideration, I think I will stick with 4x4 for a while. I have two more scalers after the 64 is done.

I was checking all the italeri models yesterday & other military vehicles. Even seen MTB4x4's 8x8 build in model form, must of been too small or something. Lots of old german stuff. Why? Who really wants to buy that. Seen some models ppl use on here they where up to the $60 range. Thats crazy pricey. |

They are all a little on the expensive side. You can't think about that. Imagine the hours involved in scratch building a cab. Personally, I'm thinking of building a Mog cab buck for the vacuum molder I'm building. At least then I can make multiples from my hard work. Sent from my SCH-I535 |
