| So this chassis keeps the wheelbase the same as stock? If so then I understand why the shock mount "tabs" don't have to be longer to keep the shocks from being at a severe angle.

Yes thats correct, the wheelbase stays in at comp legal length 8.5". Well got the Bronco body drying from paint. So decided to get this sucker rollin. Got everything installed and my holmes motor wire came on done, so for now just pics. I think this thing is going to preform outstanding! I also installed some aluminum lockers and CVD's. The electronics are installed on the four link that is used in the rear, we have a rear electronics 4 link on the way. |

Nice looking Chassis. Is there any issues with the chassis/skid getting hung up on rocks? Seems like there would be with the way the lower links mount to the skid? |

samdog- body can be found here: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSB1313 Xtant- The skid in the pictures is only for mockup and will be altered for final production, those who wish to run the links on between the chassis and skid similar to stock will need to make that modification. I've been running the prototype as for for some time and haven't had an issue, ride height can be adjusted to lower or higher then stock. |

looks good except i dont like how the skid is sharp on the front and back bottom edges and the chassis. might do some good to have a small 35-45deg or some sort of a notch cut in there. otherside thats a rock hook waiting to happen imho. and im not dissing you just stating my opinion to maybe provide ideas. and like xtant says the links should mount into the skid. The chassis hangs below the lower links? Can't see that working out very well - especially with those square corners. |

Again, the skid was for mockup, the final product will not be this way. The links will mount on the skid but the final product will be half the thickness where the links mount allowing them to be the same height as the chassis. As you can see we've also left room for those who want to modify the skid to mount the links in between the skid and TVP's similar to the stock setup. This proto so far walks circles around my old setups. |

Love this new chassis i have bought some products from you all and love them. Are you all planning on making this into a complete kit eventually with 4 link plates and all? Do you have any videos of the new chassis crawling? Thanks

that skid needs some spots to inboard the bottom links if you want ;D and i wouldnt want a small step in it like below the links(like in ure final skid) that even if it is only a 1/8" or whatever |

Nothing I make will go out if I dont like it and feel its not an improvement over something else. My prototype does however work. I'm handing some out to a few locals here to get some more testing done and see how they like it. Time will tell. |
