I just can't help the think the speed is important.

The difference in my sportsman was truly amazing.

I was so angry when I finally got my Xciter body mounted, thinking it was going to recover better than that huge Betty body. It actually did worse....much worse....I remember kicking the thing at one point.

I was totally confused as to why all the "cool kids" were running the Xciter body because it totally sucked for recovery.

Then my 13t motor showed up......completely changed my mind about everything I thought I knew.

Violent wheel speed.....not wheel speed....VIOLENT, break the car, rip a tire off, fling dirt and sticks and rocks everywhere wheel speed is the key to recovery.

Nothing else changed on the car, in any respect, just the motor. Night and day difference.

When it comes to driving i cant say anything!

When it comes to the exiter body, it look so cool! If performance is all, the VW bug body should be best for recovery!

When it comes to unbalanced wheels, the hippety-hopping effect will be there when you drive, i dont like hippety-hop!

That my friend is correct! Those are Dlux 1.9 wheels in G10 with a D cut!

If you ask me the G10 need a cut to look good!

Actually that was my plan, but without seeing any type of performance i think it has to be the the Dravpnir/CCC chassie!
It look so good!

But until it's ready for production i will have the pro chassie

the pro chassis works great if u get the set up right I won ecc, bg, and the sc/nc state championship with a stock pro then I sold it and it won a few national qualifiers over seas and then nationals it had like 25 or so wins in a row

Yes i'm well aware that both you and then Samu had great "luck" with that rig!
And my original
Plan was to drive it pretty much stock, but then i started looking at things that might be worth doing, like the xr/wrait steering!

Have you seen the looks of the mini bulldog in Dravpnirs thread?
You must think it is one of the best looking chassies around!

I havent been driving the mini more than 30 yards in my basement so i really need to learn how to drive!

But to be honest the only thing making me hesitate to buy is the fact that the rig you built might just be the best rig in the world?

its not "luck" if u keep doing it over and over again lol...

the mini bulldog chassis looks good looks real good in cf

so far my old rig is the best one in the world lol

as far as driving it will take u a lil time to get use to a 1.9 its defiantly different in driving style than 2.2 u really have to watch tire placement

Yeah i know i meant that you have had great sucsess with the rig

I really should say i need to learn to drive!

But i do realize that it is going to be alot harder to drive a 1,9 than a 2.2pro but i suck at driving the pro rig so i really hope that driving the mini will help me to improve my driving!

I guess most of you guys started with a shafty and then switched to MOAs or driving both! I think all the help i get with DIG making it harder to learn to see the best line!
By forcing me to learn to read the terrain i hope to greatly improve my driving!

Yes most of us old school guys started out with shift drivin rigs my print was made from tmaxx axles and a pede trany first comp rig was with tlt axles so me personally is use to not running dig. Makes it easier to pick lines

Default Blib's MRC

Today a few more parts arrived!

Some screws from fastener express and some M2 nuts!

Need to enlarge the center hole cause the hub wont fit, this is an easy fix with the lathe!

I also found out why the ring gear was so wobbly and i made it better!

By looking at the distance between the axlehousing and the back of the ring gear i saw how much it was off!
Mine wobbled almost 1mm so i located in what direction i had to move the top lid where the bearing is located.

I unscrewed one of the four screws, the one in the corner to where i had to move the lid. Then i tighten the screw in the opposite corner the i tightened the first screw.
Put the ring gear assembly back into the housing and use a screw driver or axelshaft to turn it, check how much it wobbles!

You will probably never get it to be completley centered and it will probably move a little when in a bind but to start with the gear centered can't be that wrong!

I really hope that Dravpnirs spools show up soon so i dont have to use this horrible million part locker!
