Default Need help diagnosing issue on freshly restored mrc

I just finished rebuilding my old mrc for my son. New chassis, axles, shocks , rx/tx , wheels, tires , shocks. Battery. I got it all together and tried to drive it after binding the new radio system and it would only drive forward and backward. No steering no matter where I plugged in the servo in the rx.

Then all of a sudden it would not move at all. I am at my wits end since everything is new. Now I have a good 150-200 into this thing and it's a damn paper weight still.

Does anyone have any ideas.

When all the servo plugs are unplugged and battery is hooked to the esc it flashes red until you turn on the on switch or plug it into the rx then it stops flashing

I'm about to use it for target practice and say screw it and get him a honcho

Did you go through the binding process with the esc?

Seems like something went bad with the servo if the esc/rx and battery are ok. Are you using a bec? Does the servo make any noise when powered? Maybe someone else can chime in with other ideas since I cant see the truck.

Tx batteries are fresh out of the pack. The servo is the stock losi one it worked before I took apart the mrc, I have not tried plugging the rx into another rig yet same goes for servo.

Id test the individual components on another rig it sounds like the receiver, servo, or bec if you have one might be at fault/bad; things go bad all the time for no reason whatsoever
