Added some lights to my trucks. Not the cleanest install ever, but they're bright and scale-ish.

Got 20 of these LED cob lights for about $10. Took them apart and wired them up for some scale lights. 100 ohm resistor, works very well on 12v.
I plan on putting a 56 ohm resistor for a little more heat and a little more brightness.

Ordered a 12v BEC for the lighting kit.

Had ordered this light bar for the dodge, but it wasn't a good fit. So onto the Chevy it goes.

Ups says my welder will be here Tuesday! So here's my plan. 1st will be the 66 ford, steel bumper and sliders and rear cage. 2nd is the chevy, full exo cage on that one. 3rd is a hilux body I got from jeff. I'm going to use it to do my first full chassis! Not sure how it will come out but i'm gonna try it anyway.

Started my 2nd custom built crawler.
Going to be SCX-10 gearbox, frame rails, and wheelbase with Wraith axles, modified Wraith width belly pan, custom chassis crossmembers, and a hand built aluminum Jeep Wrangler YJ ('87-'95 with square headlights) body.

The YJ-10 has begun!

The charger I wanted finally came in stock at the Global warehouse of HobbyKing (Hong Kong). So I snapped it up for $59.99 + $16 shipping

Not bad for a 20amp charger that has loads of functions. I can test my batteries for internal resistance, break in motors, power a foam cutter. Lots of built in LiPo features as well.
Purchased on 5-2-16 at 11:50pm EST It was on my door by 6pm on 5-4-16 !! I was SO surprised. I didn't even bother checking the tracking it was so quick. That's faster than 2 day priority USPS.
I put it through it's paces just to test it. Best charger I've had for sure.

Testing on 20amp charge with 4 2s batteries. Charging in parallel.

Testing Power Supply using 2 chargers. My old charger 10amp and new fancy 20amp

Forgive my ignorance, are you saying run a motor off a charger? My next question is what would be the purpose of this?

The function would be to power a brushed motor at specific voltage for specific duration to break in and seat the brushes.
It's not suitable for brushless.
It's a "cool" feature that will most likely go unused.

The internal resistance check is quite nice though. It's good to know which batteries are on their way out and which are totally fine.

GMC grill because I'm a GMC man. Always loved their grills better than Chevy. Made it from scratch with styrene strips. I'm very happy with it and will refine it a little on my next one. Hopefully some will be interested and I'd make a few for sale but that's a long shot I know. Let me know what you guys think!
Ben
