Change of plans. I was gonna run the '66 ford body on the II but found that Proline is releasing this, and I MUST have it: I cant afford the BRG cage and bumpers so Ill be rocking the good ole Axial plastic! |

Got Big Green running again.....oh the rust....broke one uni pin. Scrubbed in the Axial BFG KO2's. For a scale looking tread. I gotta say Axial got their sh^$ together. I thought I was going to loose traction going to these from my Pitbulls. I can only see these getting better and better as they break in. |

That stock body is awful. It's like an escort with a body kit. Mine is still in the box. Saving it for air brush practice this winter

I'll Proabably run the stock body a couple times. Thinking about putting the Chevy clod body on it with an Exo. Or I might get the proline Chevy honcho cab and build a back half, one or the other.

Well I finally did it. I ordered the SCX10 II Kit. Who knows when it'll ship, but I've got one coming. I'll scavenge the parts from the Chevy and sell off the rest. Axles, chassis, etc.. |

I'd be interested in hearing what you think of the transmission. I just assembled mine yesterday and I have a couple points of concern, it's all been discussed over on the II thread incase you haven't come across that one yet. Sent from my Jitterbug

The transmission is a concern, I have logged a good amount of time on mine now. I run only a brushed motor and keep a spare in my pit box. Ive debated on going back to the old style. I do have a supershafty bomb proof laying around.

Did you do anything to address the spur "wobble" or the excess "in-out" movement of the input shaft? I got most of mine resolved but feel I need to tear it down and make it gooder. Seems like the whole transmission is over thought, without paying attention to detail on the inside. My $.02 Sent from my Jitterbug
