Check out my build thread in the ascender section. Made tons of progress during my vacation.

No binding with this much steering either.

So, I finally built my snowplow for the 10 II.

I started with a pair of custom push plates and discovered that the Axial alloy drag links were just the right length to make a sweet pair of cross braces. Lol

Next I made an A-arm and a pivot plate out of 1/4" lexan.
Right now I'm limited to 3 channels, so lifting the plow takes priority over angling the plow.

Then I cut a plow out of 3" PVC pipe.
....the hard way...... lol

After a long debate with myself, we came to the conclusion that the leftover plastic airplaine control cable would be just the ticket for lifting the plow.
I put an end link on one end and made a badass little servo saver, for when the plow rides up during plowing.

Now it sits, ready for the snow that's in the forecast!!!

Damn son, pretty innovative!
I like the "adjusting loop" you made on the servo end of the plow lift cable.

So, my ingenious inginuity had only one flaw....
But it was a major flaw...

Once I got 2 snowflakes on the inner part of the plastic control cable, there was enough resistance to keep the plow from dropping at all.

Needless to say, there was no R/C plowing done.... just good old R.C. slinging snow with a shovel. LOL

My solution to this issue is to try the leftover lawnmower throttle cable from my Go-Pro poop stick. LMFAO!!!!

I'm not sure what I'll use for a lubricant, but I think I need something to keep the metal jacket and cable from rusting too fast.

Getting ready to rip into it now.

I'll know how it works tomorrow after the Shoe Goo dries.....

Spent some time today trying to find the paint cup to my airbrush so I can start painting the body for my Yeti. No luck so far.

I know this feeling. Good luck in your search.

So, the 10 II's plow lift cable version 2 was a success!

The lawnmower throttle cable has considerably less resistance than the aircraft control cable did, so the stuck in the up position plow is no longer an issue!

I also ran into an issue with the servo saver loop not being closed and coming off the servo horn when pushing snow up a pile.

The new version has a securely closed servo saver loop for worry free pile making. LOL

Finally I drilled two holes for the straight and left angled positions.

Plowing was fun but by the time I got to try it out everything was starting to freeze back up, so I quit plowing so I didn't beat it to death in the process. LOL

How about a 4s powered snow blower. You could really sling the snow then lol.

Big Green 3.0
Finally got this back together
Need to get it on the Castle link today, get outside and test.
Im happy with it now that I have the electronics where I want them.
Pinion angle is much better. Have yet to try it to see how much more steering angle I gained over stock.

I've been wanting to lower the 10 2 and after pondering everything from internal shock limiters, straps ect I decided it was easier to mount the lower shock ball to the link mount....lowers it about 1/4"
