Ok, now that we have a date.....

Time?

Rules/Classes? (I would say lets just do a "run what ya brung" format). If this goes well, then we can go ahead and abide by rules and such.

Now I'm confused....I don't think this was supposed to be a full blown competition.I think it was originally planned to get everyone together for plain old crawling, hangout, make friends that sorta thing.YOUNGBLOOD correct me if I am wrong on this?

Speedemall, Very good to meet ya!!....I was SOOOO kickin' myself the rest of the day for not bringing my truck!!!!.......
Ill be up for the 14th as long as it clears the home schedule.....I'm gonna try to recruit a couple of other crawlers, too.
I'd also rather go for the friendly get together, instead of a real comp.....I'm still learning, and not sure if I'm up for a comp.

As far as where......as much as I like the Falls, I think parking is too far away...and Ya gotta pay to get into the park (unless I missed the "free" entrance)......The pics of Sugarloaf look good to me.

get to gether format is fine by me Like stated, if all works well, we can make the next one a true "comp". Run what ya brung it is! I'm still going to bring a couple tennis ball halves to mess around with.

I think 9 am is a little early for some of us.... So how about high noon?

It looks like everybody has agreed that Sugarloaf will work. I'm going with it unless there are any objections.

Noon should be great even if I have some "kid shuttle" duties, I can drop em off mid-morning and head for the crawling!!

........This get together will push me to finish working on my truck!!!

Oh, Yeah, dont forget to check radios -- I should be running Spektrum.....

the pics make it look like a nice place to crawl. I'll have to see what my club has planned for the 14th. If there's no comp, I'd like to drive out there and meet some new folks. The drive is about the same that it takes me to get to my club's crawl site in York, PA.

Sugarloaf might even be a little closer to B-more than York. Bring the PA guys on! I'm might try and get some of the VA crowd to come up too, Altho I know some of them are at the nationals this weekend.

Man, I am glad that this is fianally happening. To bad I have no crawler or close to anything to run at the moment. Plus I will be camping for the next 4 weekends at the NRC. Hopefully next season I will be out, I gave up on the Maryland crowd for awhile and now I can start building again.

Thanks for the PM, thats great for someone to step up.

thanks for the heads up about the gtg. it sounds like alot of fun. i would love to go to it but i need new axels for my truck first. im gonna try to order them tomorrow so i will be ready for the gtg. also i think everyone should post what kind of rigs they will be bringing just to see if we have enough trucks in the same class if we ever have a comp. i have semi scale crawler with mfm chassis and tlt axels (for now) and 55t motor.

Agian, Im a newbie to the world of crawling, so what does my truck class as?....Axial Ax-10 with X-Trail Chassis, MIP steel drive shafts, and attempting to add front dig right now (might not work with MIP shafts).......Im guessing its just considered a 2.2???

I should be in for the 14th. I'm running a old radio with a 27.045MHz cristal.

I just have a AX10 that is broke of coarse, but I should have parts by then. I need tranny outputs.
