Awesome build Shane! I want first dibs on this one for sure.

How are the axles holding up in regards to ring and pinion?

Thanks. I gotta finish it first! Open diffs are holding up fine with the Tekin Pro4 and 3s lipo. Only issue i am having is keeping the c-hubs tight on the VP Aluminum Housings.

i posted a possible solution your rim issues in the clod section. now they are not legal in any racing rules, but i would love to See if the could hold up to 3s . cause im planning a milder 2s so i can run my Wraith pounder at No Limit next year. and after reading the rules 6 times and Matt Higgins article on RC TruckStop, i see i have to do some more work and make the clod rims run on the Wraith axles. anyway AWESOME BUILD!!!

Thanks. Ill check it out in a bit. I have an idea that involves one washer or piece of carbon fiber per wheel and can provide a scale hub effect too.

It's coming along nicely,

Super beefy, what's it weigh without the tires and rims?

2.33lbs as if right now. Still need a little but more bracing and it will be done. I probably went overboard with the bracing but it should hold up well.

If you tweak that chassis you did something very bad.

Welds look great.

I thought it was strong before I added the cab but it bent with some light jumping at the skate park

It was a rhetorical question. Not meant for any comments.

Thanks. Most of my scale RC's are semi-scale in appearance. This one is no different. Just dont stare too long.

Motor in, body on. Motor sits up a little high. I can lower it down but the timing pulley would get dremeled off. Which might be ok cause the oil pan is gone already.

I think the motor looks fine in there.

Thanks guys. Broke another wheel on saturday. That curb jumped out in front of my truck. I think i got the weaker clodbuster wheels. Rootar and i were talking and we have a fix and it involves DLux. I shaved a little off the beadlock face to fit inside the wheel. This is not the final setup just a picture for reference on a center-busted out wheel.
Ignore the lopsided diameter reducing on the wheel face. I was in a hurry.

It should. I need to order some more wheels to mod all 4.

This truck will be getting dismantled for it's running gear soon. But it will still get completed. Going to work on the body mounts this week.

Going to build up a buggy for the Superlift Hogwild Shootout in Feburary. 1:1 and 1:10 event. New chassis build soon
