Scratch the above mapped place on east side of Zeeland. BIG slabs with BIGGER holes in between them that could swallow a person yet along a 2.2 rig. We ended up at the usual place between Zeeland and Holland, only to keep breaking parts on Jared and my rigs. It was a fun 20mins. |

| New Backyard Crawling Spot - Holland
I had my course about 80% complete and then the storm hit two weeks ago. Neighbors tree fell on the course and my shed. Took out four pcs of fence around the course and left a mess of leaves and branches on it. Oh, and put 3" of water across my entire (half finished) basement. Tree is gone, fence is back up, and now course is 90% complete (always room for more rocks, right?). It's not huge, but entertaining for a couple runs. My three kids think it rocks LOL! Fence is to hide it from the neighbors. |

| Holland Fun Run - 10am Sunday July 19
I added a dozen more larger rocks (60-120lbs ea.), a rope bridge and screwed on cement pcs up the large ramp. If we use markers to funnel the runs through the more difficult lines, it's pretty fun. Anyone want to join Nate, Alex and I on Sunday morning around 10am, to run the rocks in the pics above? PM or email me if you think you can come and I'll get you directions. We are planning on some dogs and brats afterwords for lunch. Bring some chips or other side. BYOB |

| Tests, trials and corrections in Holland - Fun Crawl
Six of us got together in Holland at the new spot in my backyard. With some trial, error and correction (Nate moving rocks and concrete around) we had a runnable course. Mainly 2.2s, but had some Losi Minis join in too. Nate is in every shot, as we found out he owns way too many Lipos. Sorry you couldn't make it Twisted, hope your truck is OK. Oh, and the poster child shot of Jim's Xtrail Axial Chevy "Check my flex!" |

| Course Improvements Pending
Brought home another 800-1000lbs of broken concrete again today. Nice vintage-aged stuff. Pics from this weekend below - enough to widen the path between my rig and Nates, fill in from Nates Rig to the corner. And enough to fill in between my rig and Nates in this pic. I think those were the two trouble spots. I am going to build a small platform near the fence for that end of the Sisal-rope bridge. Have the rope run through holes in the platform, and maybe held tight by one or two springs for tension. |

Nate, filled in those two spots with broken crete. Dip between largest rock pile and highest crete hill is semi-bridged with crete, and from the rope bridge to the climb in the corner is bridged with crete. I think you might be able to get through there now. My 2yr old (in the first pics) ran both areas twice! LOL |

I need to build a third rig. Every time I go out there with one in my hand, I have 2-3 kids draining the batteries before I get a chance to! LOL |

Nah, Scott. All you need to do is mug Nate. He can give the energizer bunny a run for his money. |

Maybe we should nick-name him 'Mr. Chemical' with all the different chemistry of cells he has. Or instead of the movie character "Bolt" the dog, we could call him 'VOLT'. Sorry, jokes are falling flat. Just got the last of 3 kids to bed after their aunt came over with the nieces and re-energized them right before bed time. Just installed a second deep cycle batt on the stand by sump pump. 15hrs of continuous pumping time with them. That and a system that calls 3 numbers when the power goes out. And a generator in the garage. All to keep sump pumps pumping. The nuclear reactor is on back order. LOL ltr |

| to say we havn't had to many GTG's this summer, might just be the understatement of the year. Nice to have you back anyway though. If you want to crawl there is a place called BattleFrontGaming (.com) here in GR that has regular comps and a couple of classses. Indoor and outdoor courses are available. You do have to pay to play, but it's a regular gig. If your bored you could drop by my house and rebuild my course for me due to other projects, and a newborn about the place, it kind of turned into a dumping ground of broken rock, brick, and concrete instead of a runable course. Then the weeds moved in and took the place over! It needs a good day of work to be usable again. There are also some other free spots around GR, If you want a tour let me know. |
