Sorry hunny, I didn't know they were bringing so much rock that it would cover the back, back wall and roof. But it doesn't go around the sides.

Default Is there anyone in West Michigan that still wants to Crawl?

Wow, were into May already. Missed this last weekend of crawling.

If you actually read this, chime back. Who's in for a fun run!?!?!

I'm avail Saturday or Sunday, after 12 (May 16/17).

Ideas?
Sub Park in Muskegon
State Park in Grand Haven
Cement Recycler in Holland
Lowes on 28th in GR (Kentwood)
Any new spots?

Hey all....I'm still here!

I killed my BEC and have decided to take a break untill Castle gets it back to me. I could make it work, but I just don't feel like crawling right now. Castles repair turnaround is a couple ,three weeks. I should be over it by then

Saturdays are booked solid all summer for work. Sunday mornings will work most often but not always, as I will be working or riding between 8 and 10 bicycle tours this summer.

I think I'm in this weekend. I'd like to see how the cement recycler looks in Holland.

Two spots in Holland, both cement recyclers, to crawl at.
Can do the State park, but it has some series gaps between the 3-5ft rocks near the pier.

Grand Haven is fun, but I like the Sub Park in Muskegon better.

Cement places are not a natural (picturesque) setting by any means, but offer of a realm of challenges.

What do you have down Allegan's way? Post some pics in this thread!

Cement recycler has a lot more than before. Drove past it last night and it looks like quite a bit bigger.

Come on, if you suscribe to reminders on this thread, come and join Shadow and I!!
Alex, you might make it?

A big pile of broken concrete to play on, on what is suppose to be a 60deg sunny day!! What more could old kids like us ask for!
OK, maybe natural rocks to play on, but in sandy west mich we do what we can.

Come and trespass with us on Sunday, at 1pm!

Default GTG today in Zeeland

Jared, Alex and I had a Great time today, crawling the 3story pile of broken concrete in Zeeland.

I was testing out the mods on my TLT based BMV.
BMV Torsion (TLT Axles) Reborn w/DIG etc

Jared shift some weight around on his axial with batt saddle pack and servo but found the limit of the axial shocks running droop. Plus we found out he is developing buggy-idis disease.
Alex had a good run with his semi-scale axial 2.2.

Good fun run, Thx guys!

My vote would be Sub Park in Muskegon, Sunday, +/-9ish.

Chime chime.

Default New Spot to meet - Zeeland Cement Recycling yard

New place on NE side of Zeeland, towards Hudsonville.

I have not drove in yet, to see where to park, if 'no trespassing' is posted, etc. I will post a pic of the place later.

VERY large area to crawl

If other people are going to come out and play, the sub park is cool. But if it's just the two or three of us, I say lets just hit up local stuff. Less drive time, more play time that way.

Put the Integy shocks back on, stiffer and less articulation, but they'll hold together.

I'll try and get a pic to post, of the new area I mapped above.

Schane(sp?) replied with Sat, not sure he can do Sun. Sat has possible rain.

I'd be in for Sunday morning. Zeeland if no one else chimes in. 9 or 10am?
Want to try that new place?

Default East Zeeland Cement Recycler

Pic to go with the map above. Chicago dr. to Hudsonville is off the right side of pic. Pic is taken in my car on 80th ave (north-south road).
Just off the pic to the left, on 80th, is a decent 2-track drive that goes 3/4 of the way back to the pile.
The pic does not do the pile justice. It is probably bigger then the one we always meet at in Zeeland.
