Shucks.. Just wait till trailer fab starts. The in 1:1 the rig is 1/3 the total length of the rig/trailer setup. I don't think I will make this scale version trailer 66% longer than the truck. That would be like a 60" trailer. Probably going for a 30" length trailer.

Ill make one, if needed. Getting good with the welder finally. Good is a relative term when speaking of my MIG welding.

Example. My proportions were a bit off. May be a 60/40 setup. Ill "eyeball" the trailer length when i get there.

Trying to figure out how to make these angled trailer skids too. I am not setup to cut a 15 deg angle on 1/2", 8.5" square piece of metal tube. I have an idea or two.

Hastily tacked on trailer skids.

Possible big boy winch setup.

Tube tapered down to fit some bearings. Some old spur holder with mod1 gear. I will need to make a new steel spur plate.

Cant really place the motor directly in front of mount as winch line will probably get in the way.

Need to figure out how to power it as well. Maybe a separate Battery, ESC and Rx/Tx. This may be a two person controlled rig.

A buddy of mine modded a ps3 thumbstick for a camera control maybe you could add something similar. Just a thought.

The trans mount looks nice and study, great placement to keep the driveshaft angles sane.

The brushed 540 is for mockup only.

I ran the Holmes sensored outrunner in my 15lbs CXT geared 10:1 at the spur/pinion. Worked great. 8x8 is sitting at 10.8:1 now.

Szczerba's 2.2 CXT

Holmes also makes a 550 sensored outrunner.

Pssh, i don't know. You guys assume I know what I am during.
Plan on putting an rc4wd 80t or a redcat 100t there and crossing some fingers.

I have one of these as well, if needed.

Yeah you may wanna try to use the gru. If not you may very well have the first scale ski rope winch.. That 100 turn motor and the gru it should pull a 1:1
