Most basic wiring:
- Solder the BEC flying leads (red and black) just behind the battery connector to the ESC (on the ESC side).
I solder mine right to the Deans connector with the ESC wires and put heat shrink over the leads.
- Connect the BEC to a spare channel in the RX
- Disconnect the RED wire going from the ESC to the RX.
I pull it out of the connector so I can reconnect it if I use the ESC for another project, but some people just clip it. No matter how you do it, make sure you put some heat shrink over the wire so that it doesn't short to something, there is still voltage going through it when the ESC is powered on.
- Plug in the battery and test.
You will have power to your servo and RX (and what ever else you have coming off of the RX) when you plug in the battery.

Agree ^ except for pulling the red wire from the esc to Rx plug. Get a 3" servo extension and remove just the red wire. Plug esc into extension, plug extension into the Rx. Now when you want to change parameters on your esc, simply unplug the esc from the extension and connect to your computer or programming card (whichever you have)
