| Newbie question
Hi All , new to rc crawling and posting questions , Im from Perth Australia and have purchased an axial rr10 bomber kit and have completed the build .The builders kit is all stock .I am currently running the following motor- castle 1410-3800kv four pole brushless motor and castle sidewinder sct esc ( these were a boxed package ) . Transmitter is a Futaba 3PV . The motor seems to spool up faster in reverse than forward . The direction is correct and I have checked the transmitter setting and sub settings and all seem correct , have calibrated the transmitter to the esc several time and still no change. What am I missing . Any help much appreciated

If you have the CastleLink, you can go into the software and change the motor direction. You’ll need to reverse the ch2 direction afterwards. This option is a must if you were to be running a sensored ESC, the sidewinder is not. Or just unplug 2 of the motor wires from the ESC and swap them around then plug back in. All else should remain the same. This option works for sensorless ESCs. |
