| PRO 4 build........
after having my SC10 2WD truck and not liking the 2WD part ....i made up my mind i want a 4WD full tubed frame SC truck, anyone who knows my tigress and TT class 2 scale build will know what will go into this build....now to let some pictures to do the talking ....rough drawing to neat one.... i ditched the alum floor pan to go all tube.... the HPI MT2 front end and i was going with at first, but ditched that too for full tubed front A arms as well.... now for some tube work.... more to come folks ..........bob .... |

yeah i know the pic's are from 09 but ya can't rush greatness ....made my famous wooden jigs and clamps to hold parts for brazin.... now onto the tubed front end to replace the plastic junk i don't want....the old front end parts to the new ones and tubed floor.... alum C hubs and knuckles.... the 3/16" holes in floor pan to accept top 3/16" tubed frame.... the two halves together for mock up and front end so far.... body on to see where stuff will ride.... everything in between the rear fenders and cab will be cut out of the body and tube roll bar will find it's new home with intergraded rear tubed bumper....well so far this is where i'm at and i'm still looking to make my mind up between RC4WD's shoer sourse hardcore axle or there wraith centered alum axle, hope ya enjoy looking as much as i like making this stuff .........bob .... |

This build is amazing, you're doing an awesome job so far. Want you to keep going, found some nice shots of Carey Hart's Pro4! Beautiful isn't it! Those front rotors are interesting. They look more like the Avid rotors on my mountain bike than a rotor for a race truck.

got a few hours in before my finger tips couldn't hold small stuff very good any more ....next time out i'll have some pic's from a steel plate 1/16" thick to braze to the lower frame to hold front diff....then alter the tube just a bit to clear diff housing....this mount will be super small and simply clean looking ....
