I was wondering what crawling/scale offroad was like in japan. Is it very popular? Im daydreaming a visit/move and im having trouble finding recent info. I also race electric 8th scale and mod shortcourse. Is there an offroad racing scene?

not sure if crawling is popular in japan, but it seems pretty active. Here is a site that is crawler related. YSS Crawlers : , RC As for 8th scale and shortcourse, I know there are some offroad tracks in Northen Japan and Southern Japan. 1 near Ibaraki and 1 in Okinawa for sure, but i know there are a lot more, just don't know where they are located. I don't know about Okinawa because its a corporate marines track, but you may be able to enter. You may be able to go to a hobby shop in Akihabara/Ginza Area and get some more indepth info for some tracks. |
