I would like to see it at my home course just not enough room. Oakes Park Quarry would be a great spot. Plenty of room and lots of hotels around.

Should be warm and comfortable... even if its hot, right by the ocean stays cool. Obviously there is no guarantee, as New England can have its share of crazy weather. I'd say that time of year would be great.

WOW I'm sold, great spot.
Rausch Creek has great facilities, but the view and the rocks look awesome!

There is plenty of space for parking...assuming there will be a lot of carpooling anyway. As far as hotels and food, Newport RI is just across the bridge (because these are islands), which has plenty of great food and things to do and quite a few hotels. It's like a 15 min drive to the heart of Newport, unfortunately... It's a toll bridge though. There are plenty of beaches around, bars, live music, restaurants, etc there as well.

As far as access, I'm working on that now. Been in contact with the parks and rec dept already, and submitting forms to try and nail it down.

Plus there is an airport in Providence, a 39 min drive to the location. Not to bad if you ask me. Of course you can drive the length of the entire state in under an hour!

FALLS OF THE OHIO....Has everything you need and want. 3 Blocks from I65 in Clarksville IN and directly across the river from Louisville KY, Parking, Hotels, HOOTERS, SICKEST ROCK formations i have crawled on yet and i have been all over, The park rangers are really nice and love watching /driving my rigs and genuinely like us being there. Short drive! Its centrally located and will have a huge turnout. In September the water is very very low and not even an issue. I would like to share this AWESOME SPOT which has never been used for a large comp. I can post some pics if any body is interested.

It's a tiny state.

He said 39 minutes, that's way shorter than the drive from the PHX airport to Prescott was.
