Do you have to use a pin? I did this to mine the other day and I just dropped them in then shut the diff.

I would assume that the cross pin is needed. But I have limited knowledge on open diff setups.
Let me know how it works out.

You can cut down a 5/32" drill bit shank or some 5/32" rod. Then notch for the other pin to seat in.

It seems to be working. Knowing my luck it's taring up the inside of three of my diff's. The car is F'ing fun but, Kyosho is making me feel like a retard with there non fitting parts.

Thanks Szhane for letting me wear the rear tires some more. That thing is fun.

They don't last long on pavement.

Made some changes today.
Added a front sway sway bar (lightest) with good results. Car dives into the corners better now.
Switched the shock oil from 60wt to 40wt on all corners. Car feels alot smoother now.

Replacement dog bone shafts for center diff and drive shafts are beefier than RTR ones.
Speaking of parts...Front CVD's, hardened a-arms for damaged fronts, replacement a-arm pivot pins, replacement dog bones, etc.

Been driving the DRX at 60% throttle EPA and having a lot better time controlling it. Everything is still holding up fine, except the body. Outside temps are coming down so less ESC temp outs due to MP9 underbody.

Speaking of bodies. Bcrocks at BC Paints shot this Lancer for me. Theme is based on Ronnie O'Sullivan's racing jetta.

Awesome work Ryan!

He is an RCC vendor.

Here is the thread he posted. Has others in paint section as well. I won a free paint job from him at this year nationals and this is the result.

What are you guys seeing in the diff fluid ranges?

I would think that you would want the rear to unload before the front but maybe I am not correct? Also the fluids you guys are saying 5,5,7 don't seem like much to control.

I haven't ran mine yet but adding the spider gears and thought I would do that while I was in there.
